Career
Highlights
I've been on 2 Covers of Oxygen Magazine, and have been in Musclemag,
Muscle and Fitness, Ironman, Natural Muscle, to name a few. I
have been in many add Campaigns for company's such as Avia, Hanes,
Coors Light, Champion, KMC Wheels and commercials like Pepsi,
El Pollo Loco and Hydroxycut.
I
have competed in the Galaxy, Fitness America, Tri-Fitness, and
one NPC show. Though I have never won any contest I have always
placed pretty high, and of course had a great time.
Why
did you become interested in fitness?
I have been in sports all my life and it seemed like the next
step to take. I admired the women who had nice toned, yet not
to muscular bodies. I always wanted to be a model and through
fitness it was a great way to get started.
When
did you first start working out?
I first started working out with weights when I was about 18,
and by the time I was 20-21. I competed in my first fitness show
the Galaxy in 96'. I was 11th out of 300 girls that competed that
year.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
I now like to keep in shape with Pilates, Kickboxing, running,
biking, wakeboarding and snowboarding. It all depends what time
of year it is.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
I feel that I have done everything I have wanted to do as far
as competing. Since I had major knee surgery in 2000 it has forced
me to take an easier approach to my training. I am still able
to do everything, but right now it would be impossible for me
to put in the hours needed to compete. It would be awesome to
have my own competition someday, but at the moment I am doing
alot of modeling and trying to pursue acting.
